This beginner-friendly course is designed for those new to oil painting, providing a strong foundation in this versatile medium. Over four weeks, you’ll explore essential techniques, including:

• How to apply and layer oil paint

• Understanding tonal underpainting

• Mastering the colour wheel

By the end of this course, you’ll have the confidence and skills to continue developing your painting practice and progress onto our 4-week intermediate course. No previous experience is needed and is suitable for the complete beginner.
