Can I book more than one place? I want to go on a course with a friend?
You are able to book a maximum of 1 place at a time. If booking for a friend you can just go through the process again to book their place.
Is it possible to pay the course fee in installments?
Unfortunaetley no. At The Pottery Studio Carmarthen, we offer reasonable prices for our customers. We understand that affordability is important in making pottery accessible to everyone. Although we can't offer discounts, we work hard to keep our prices low without compromising quality. Our skilled artisans create unique and beautiful pottery pieces with dedication and expertise. Each item is carefully crafted and fired to perfection, making it a cherished addition to your collection or a thoughtful gift. By purchasing from us, you support local artists and the ancient tradition of pottery-making. We regularly review and adjust our prices to ensure a balance between quality and affordability. I completed one course can i do it again
Of course.
I’ve booked a place on a course, but can no longer make it. Can I get a refund?
Once a place has been booked, the fees are non-refundable.
I missed one class. Can I do an extra class to catch up?
NO, our classes run in a very particular order its’ important you try not to miss any classes and be aware of this before signing up. But we also understand that this may happen the tutor will do their best to catch you up.
I can’t finish my course for an unexpected reason. Can I have a refund for missed classes?
Unfortunately, no once a course is started, we are not able to issue refunds or move you to a different course. This is because we are not able to resell your space anymore and therefore cover our costs.
Can I fire things I made at another course or somewhere else?
Unfortunately, no. Our kilns are for members and classes only. We do not fire for externally.
What can I make during my course?
This will be outlined by your tutor.
I finished my course. When can I collect my finished pots?
3 weeks, we will email and put on socials when the work is ready
Please remember to bring bags, boxes and/or wrapping material with you to carry your work home
How long is each lesson?
this is outlined in the explanation
Are tools and materials included in the course fees?
Yes all tools will be provided. we also provide a clean apron for each class. Materials and tools cannot be taken home.
What do I need to bring to the class?
Just yourself, we don’t advise wearing good shoes or clothes. in winter we recomend you wear a warm jumper/ hat, clay can be messy!
Can I buy a course as a present for someone else?
Yes, you can Please visit our E Voucher page once bought you can email us with the dates you would like to attend the voucher is valid for 12 months. unfortunately after this time period it is no longer valid.
I have no previous experience in craft. Which courses are best suited for me?
All our courses, are developed for beginners and those who have some experience with clay.
Can I come in early or stay behind after my class to get some extra practice in?
Unfortunately no we advice you arrive 10 mins before your class. classes always finish dead on time. Any extra time in the studio you would need to be a member.
Can I bring a friend/child/pet with me to wait for me while I’m having my lesson?

Working with art materials can be messy. While we provide aprons, we recommend wearing clothes and footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty. Art Space Cardiff is not responsible for any damage to clothing, shoes, jewellery, watches, or mobile devices while in the studio.
Refund & Attendance Policy
• All classes are non-refundable once purchased.
• If you miss a class, it cannot be rescheduled or reimbursed.
• Classes start on time. If you arrive late, you may still join, but time cannot be made up at the end of the session.
• Full payment is required before the course begins.
Health & Safety
• The studio is a working environment, and participants must take due care at all times.
• Inductions will be provided for any equipment used. Only approved equipment may be used.
• Art Space Cardiff is not liable for any injuries resulting from failure to follow studio guidelines.
• All participants must sign an agreement to comply with our health and safety procedures.
• The company reserves the right to exclude any participant who repeatedly fails to follow these guidelines.
Intellectual Property
• All course structures, images, and classes belong to Art Space Cardiff and cannot be used for external teaching.
• While artistic styles and techniques can be used for inspiration, direct copying is not permitted. in line with GDPR You are not Permitted to film the tutor under any circumstances. Technical demonstrations cannot be posted on social media or videos of the tutors.
